Breaking In A Computer

There is a certain sense of accomplishment when one starts to use a tool extensively. It slowly but surely becomes an extension of your body.

This is especially true for those of you (like me) who use a computer day in and day out.

I have been slowly but surely making minute adjustments to my work PC since I got it. Naturally installing all the necessary software and setting the Monitors up just so. Over time, you create a basic file structure, and you install a few more apps, change the wallpaper, and reorganize yourself so you can be as efficient as possible (i also set myself up so i can dick around as much as possible without getting caught...hahahaha...but who doesnt do that?).

Breaking in a computer is a beautiful thing. Im obsessed with it now. Slowly noticing that your setup is being tweaked a tad from week to week. Watching it "grow"...Its a beautiful thing for any nerd/geek/dork out there.

Now hopefully I can save up for a new Mac for personal use and do the same thing all over again...oh the joy that would bring.
